Marcie Albert

Marcie’s passion for physical activity began at a young age where she trained in dance, under the disciplines of jazz, ballet and tap. Her love for dance led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in the Fine-Arts Dance program at York University. She continued to remain active in fitness and sport as an adult in becoming a certified level 2 ski instructor with the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA).

After years of instructing skiing, Marcie decided to take another passion of hers and make it a full-time venture. She became a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has helped to motivate and inspire countless clients to become more active and adopt healthier lifestyles.

In her endless pursuit for knowledge and to help better serve her clients, Marcie completed her studies in Exercise Physiology at York University. She regularly works as a tester for firefighting candidates in the human performance lab. From her background in dance training, Marcie has always been a strong advocate for stretching and maintaining mobility and has incorporated this philosophy in personal training. This led her to becoming certified in Fascial Stretch Therapy™ (FST).

Marcie is happily married for over 30 years and has 3 amazing adult children. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with her family, staying active, hanging out on Lake Simcoe or going to the movies.
